Florence Williamena Snowshoe Hare Note Card
Florence Williamena Hare is the town Postmistress. Every day, she totes her hefty bag of mail around town, dropping off letters and parcels with a few minutes of chit chat. With so many friends around the country and the world sending their greetings, Florence often has to upgrade from mailbag to her heavy-duty push cart. Even then she has to make several trips. But it is worth the effort; everyone is so delighted to hear from friends and family afar.
When she's lucky, as she passes out the mail, she'll receive a stamp or two saved for her from previous deliveries. To Florence, they are like little works of art; some of them certainly worthy of a spot on the wall. She spends her evenings tucked in her warren with a fire roaring and some twangy music playing on the radio while she carefully deglues each stamp, cataloguing and critiquing as she goes. Every now and again she smiles, setting one aside and thinking of the perfect frame.

On the reverse of each card is a whimsical tale of the animal featured. Entirely collectible, the stories intertwine, creating a much-loved community of characters.
We print on a luxurious 318 gsm, 100% cotton paper. Soft and durable, this paper showcases crisp detail and vibrant colour. We fell in love with our beautiful goldenrod shade, 90# envelope. According to the ‘World’s Favourite Colour’ study, people associate the feeling of joy with this colour. Also, this is the very shade that enrobes our trusty #2. As all of our images are hand drawn in pencil, we thought it appropriate to give a nod of appreciation.
